Why choose Trezor Suite?
Security-first design: Trezor Suite is built around hardware-backed private keys. Private keys never leave your Trezor device — all signing happens on the hardware and is verified by you. Suite presents transaction details clearly so mistakes are visible and preventable.
-
1Hardware-secured keysYour seed and keys stay in the device. Suite is an interface only — signing occurs on the Trezor device itself.
-
2Portfolio & multi-asset supportTrack balances, history, and values for many supported coins and tokens in a single place.
-
3Open-source & auditableSuite and Trezor firmware are open source, enabling independent audits and community review.
-
4On-device confirmationsConfirm transactions and addresses on your Trezor device — this prevents remote tampering or invisible changes.
Getting started
Download Trezor Suite for your operating system, plug in your device, and follow the setup wizard. Creating a new wallet will generate a recovery seed (write this down — it is the only backup of your funds). If you already have a seed, you can recover on any compatible Trezor device.
Security best practices
Always buy hardware wallets from the official store or authorized resellers. Keep your recovery seed in a secure, offline place — consider metal backups for durability. Enable a PIN on your Trezor and verify every address on the device screen before sending funds. Never share your seed or enter it into a computer.
Compatibility & integrations
Trezor Suite supports a wide set of cryptocurrencies including major chains (Bitcoin, Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens) and many altcoins. Suite integrates with custodial and DeFi tools when you choose to connect through authorized bridges; read permissions carefully before approving access.
Transparency and updates
Firmware updates are released periodically to improve security and add features — updates are signed and should only be installed from official Suite downloads or the Trezor website. Because projects evolve, check release notes and upgrade guidance in the app before updating.
